High quality giclée is best done from a high end artwork scan or a drum scanned large film original, but whichever way your artwork is digitised it is only the beginning of the reproduction process and of archiving your art. The original painting may be sold or lost and so preserving your creative legacy for future generations to enjoy is very important.

Transparency film scanning

If you have a transparency (35mm up to 5x4inch) of your artwork, we will scan it on our high end virtual drum film scanner.
35mm negatives can be used but will not be as crisp as film transparency scans.

Digital set up / enhancement

After scanning we prepare the file for printing. This usually includes digital cleaning, colour correction and any other required adjustments. Code Ice will undertake the whole process from recording your artwork and preparing a colour corrected print ready file - generally referred to as "DIGITAL CAPTURE"

OR if you have your own files or transparencies we will attempt to do whatever is necessary to produce the very best giclée fine art print possible

Positive and negative film originals from 35mm to 12 x 17 cm.

True 16-bit colour.
