High quality giclée is best done from a high end artwork scan or a drum scanned large film original, but whichever way your artwork is digitised it is only the beginning of the reproduction process and of archiving your art. The original painting may be sold or lost and so preserving your creative legacy for future generations to enjoy is very important.
Transparency film scanningIf you have a transparency (35mm up to 5x4inch) of your artwork, we will scan it on our high end virtual drum film scanner.
Digital set up / enhancementAfter scanning we prepare the file for printing. This usually includes digital cleaning, colour correction and any other required adjustments. Code Ice will undertake the whole process from recording your artwork and preparing a colour corrected print ready file - generally referred to as "DIGITAL CAPTURE"
